He winds up making a fool of himself and going even beyond that into anesthesia. Surgery could probably be performed on this guy and he wouldn't wake up. In the American Civil War, when they ran out of ether, they would get the wounded drunk before putting them under the knife. But you have to drink a LOT to become like this guy above.

Everybody else at the party had fun and left with their girlfriends (or boyfriends) except this guy. He wound the punchline of the party. The buffoon. The fool. No girl for this guy, they've scrawled "Gay Pride" across his chest. What nice friends he has. He's marked as "different" now.
