Arizona Alcoholic's Anonymous - Perfect Stepwork?
My name is Robin and I am an alcoholic. I heard a speaker today, Joe at the Scottsdale Fellowship, that said all that's asked is that we do the 12 Steps of Alcoholic's Anonymous to the best of our ability. Is the first step perfect? Is the second step perfect? What about doing a "perfect" fourth step? We just don't drink or drug and go through the AA Steps to the best of our ability. It's about progress and not perfection. It's about living a sober life. Alcoholics Anonymous is a tool to do that.
I'd like to say that I'm enjoying this Sober 360 Blog. Crossroads is a great Phoenix alcoholism treatment center and they have great Arizona Alcoholic's Anonymous meetings. I'm glad to be helping export their message of Phoenix alcoholism recovery and Arizona drug addiction recovery via this Blog. It's good to be alive.
Check out the above video. It helps explain some things.
"Therefore nothing can matter more to the future welfare of AA than the manner in which we use this colossus of communication. Used unselfishly and well, the results can surpass present imagination."
